INTRODUCTION

Fright 2007 is covered by the National Privacy Principles (NPPs), as set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (as amended). The NPPs govern the way that we collect, use, disclose, secure and provide access to personal information. To comply with our obligations under the NPPs, IMS has a Privacy Policy, which sets out how we manage personal information.

PURPOSE OF THE POLCY

The purpose of this policy is to let you know how IMS manages your personal information - that is, how we collect personal information, the purposes for which we use this information and to whom this information is disclosed.

This document describes Fright 2007's policy regarding information received about you during visits to our website. The amount and type of information received depends on how you use our site. This website contains links to other sites and this privacy statement is for this website only, we encourage you to read the privacy statements of each website that collects your personally identifiable information.

NORMAL WEBSITE USE

The only information we collect and store using normal website usage is the name of your internet service address, the date and time of your visit to the site; the pages accessed and documents downloaded; and the referring web page. We use this information to generate statistics and measure site activity to improve the usefulness of customer visits.

Note: no attempt will be made to identify individual users with their browsing activities, except in the unlikely event of an investigation, where the law enforcement agency may warrant to inspect the Internet log files.

We only collect personal information that is necessary for us to organise the Freight 2007 and by means that are fair and lawful. When practicable, personal information will only be collected from the individual concerned.

Freight 2007 records information from persons who enter our online competition or purchase online tickets or merchandise. This information is collected for business purposes. Information that you have provided which may identify you, such as your name, email address and contact details which you enter in a competition on our website; Information that you have provided for Freight 2007 ’s internet services, such as Online Ticketing or subscribing to the Freight 2007 Newsletter. There is generally no fee for access to personal information. However, in some cases a reasonable fee may be charged in order to recover costs if information has to be retrieved from archives or a large quantity of information has been requested.

We will respond to all requests for access within 14 days.

COMPLAINT PROCESS
